Hmm.. No new album for a while?

I know they usually release a new one every 2 years but I just got some info. Taylor said this:

"Whenever we write new material, I think, like most bands, we get really excited about the new stuff we write, and it's harder to go back and play older stuff, so I think we're kind of just focusing on the new record and squeezing as much life out of that as we can."

"We've kind of learned how to write songs from a really honest state," he added. "The music industry is in a really tough place, and I think a lot of bands are seeing what is successful and seeing what's popular, and they're trying to re-create that. I think we just have learned that that's just not what we're about and not what we like doing. And it seems like we have a lot more success when we just write from our hearts and write what we really feel is true. We're not trying to please anyone."

Does this mean it will come out even later than 2011? Even if it does come out later. Im fine with Brand New Eyes for now. It was an amazing album after all.

First up is Hayley Williams. Shes 22 years old now I believe. I love her voice. Actually I love everything about her. haha well yeah has the most amazing voice I have ever heard. The second favorite voice would have to be Freddy Mercury from Queen...But yeah thats irrelevant to this post and the whole blog actually. Anyways back on topic, I love all the band members (since 4 out of the 5 members are guys, no homo) but the band wouldn't be the same without Hayley.

Important Fact	He co-writes several Paramore songs with Hayley Williams.

Next is Josh Farro. Hes 24 years old now. Hes awesome because he plays guitar. I'm learning how to play the guitar at the moment. I started about 5 weeks ago and I plan on covering lots of Paramore songs when I get better :) Hes a great guitarist. I hope to get good like him with guitar and some day start a band.

Next is Zac Farro. Obviously Josh's brother. Hes the youngest member of the band. His age is 20. I like guitar better just like I posted above that I play guitar but Zac is cool too. Good drummer and you can't have a band without a drummer. Actually yes you can but it wouldn't be the same with out drums.

Next is Jeremy Davis. Hes the oldest member and is 26 now I believe. 25 or 26 something like that. I don't have a info box thingy for him but yeah, hes the bassist of the band. Which is awesome because bass is very similar to guitar (which I love). A bassist is always a good addition to a band.

Next is Taylor York. I don't have a info box for him either. Hes 21 years old. Hes the rhythm guitarist so hes awesome. Also a great member of the band.

In summary, awesome band members, awesome band ^_^

Oh and also just for the heck of it even though they aren't band members anymore, These guys are Paramore's former band members:

I guessing thats him. I didn't know what he looked like but thats what came up on google. If this is wrong, forgive me. I know nothing about him. :P

I apologized for the lack of info for the former members. I never looked into them because they really aren't important since they are not in Paramore anymore.

The Origin Of The Bands Name

Probably a lot of Paramore fans know this already but I thought I'd start my blog off with this.


The origin of the name "Paramore" came from the maiden name of the mother of one of their first bass players. After they found out that the homophone "Paramour" means Secret Lover, They decided to use that name as their band name but using the spelling Paramore instead.


There you go. The way they got their band name ^_^
